Welcome to Right There Plumbing!
A custom walk-in shower should be a place of pure relaxation, but sometimes an over-engineered layout leaves you with a setup that looks sleek but doesn’t function the way you want.
Customer Issue: The homeowner was ready to swap out their existing flush-recessed ceiling rain shower head. These systems can look high-end, but they often restrict your fixture choice, complicate maintenance, and make it tough to get the angle or water pressure you actually want. Changing it out required precision modification without tearing up the finished bathroom.
What We Did: Our pros, David and Everett, stepped in to transform the layout. Working carefully within the framing, they removed the old recessed assembly and reconstructed the internal support structure.
Result: A structurally solid conversion, completed in a few hours, perfectly preparing the ceiling for a beautiful, standard ceiling-mount rain shower arm and trim.
Why It Matters: Shower valves and drop-ear fittings are under continuous water pressure. If an internal fitting isn’t anchored properly behind the ceiling or wall, the torque from tightening a new shower arm can twist the pipe, causing hidden pinhole leaks or annoying rattles. Professional system design means everything stays perfectly rigid and leak-free for the long haul.
