A luxury bathroom remodel is all about the details, but a beautiful freestanding tub doesn’t mean much if the plumbing lines behind the wall aren’t perfectly aligned to feed the faucet.
Customer Issue: The homeowner wanted a modern freestanding tub, but the existing plumbing stubs were in the wrong spot. In bathroom design, a few inches off means the finish trim won’t line up, creating an expensive headache for both the tile contractor and the homeowner.
What We Did: Our team for this job, David and Everett, stepped in to reroute the lines. They ran flexible PEX hot and cold supply lines through the framing and transitioned smoothly to rigid copper stubs. Using a heavy-duty steel support bracket, they locked those copper lines exactly in place so they won’t budge an inch when the final faucet is mounted.
Result: Perfectly centered, rock-solid stub-outs framed beautifully against the cement backer board, ready for the tile team to do their magic without any delays.
