Customer Issue The builder needed an inspection-ready rough-in following the project drawings, requiring precise drain venting, clean PEX routing, and full code compliance across the entire floor plan.

What We Did We installed the DWV (drain, waste, vent) system, placing a laundry outlet box with dedicated 2-inch drainage and proper stack venting. We routed PEX supply lines, installed steel nail plates over framing cutouts, set a left-hand tub unit, and installed Delta shower valves before tying in the main water line.

Result The plumbing is completely protected, will flow quietly, and is built to handle heavy appliance discharge without back-pressure.

Why It Matters Modern washing machines pump out water at high volume and speed. Following code-specified drain sizing and stack venting prevents negative pressure—keeping sewer gas out and preventing sudden overflows. Protecting lines with stud plates also prevents accidental drywall screw punctures that cause hidden wall leaks later.
